Radio stations in the UK are regulated by law. The regulator is Ofcom, which awards licences and regulates content in accordance with the Broadcast Code.

Gemini FM works to operate within all of the conditions of its licence and the Code and welcomes comments about its output from listeners and advertisers.

Gemini FM broadcasts to Exeter and East Devon and the surrounding area on 97FM & 103FM, online at www.geminifm.co.uk and on DAB Digital Radio.

News Bulletin schedule - details of when bulletins appear on Gemini FM

Gemini FM broadcasts news bulletins on the hour and at half past the hour between 0600 and 0900, on the hour from 0900 - 1800 on weekdays. These bulletins are live and contain a full mix of local, national and world stories, along with sport, weather and entertainment news. On Saturdays, bulletins containing local, national and world news are broadcast on Gemini FM between 0700 and 1300 and on Sundays from 0800-1300. Additional national bulletins are broadcast from 1900 through until 0500 seven days a week.

Programme Automation
Gemini FM's Early Riser Show broadcast Monday to Friday 0300 - 0600 is automated.

Local Programming

All of Gemini FM's weekday daytime output (0600-1000) and (1300 to 1900) and peak time weekend (0800-1200 Saturday, 0800-1200 Sunday) output is produced and presented from our studios in Exeter.

Off peak programming (The Wind Down, Dan Wood with More Music Variety, Philippa Collins, Kevin Hughes, Andy Henly, Party anthems, Jeremy Kyle, Mark Dennison, Jo Russell, Hit40Uk and Jason Donovan) is produced at various studios, owned and operated by Gemini FM's parent company GCap Media PLC and broadcast on other stations within the group. At all times, local information is provided through Gemini FM's Action inserts.

Events / Charities support

Gemini FM operates its own registered charity, the Gemini FM Kids. It is tasked with raising money to help improve the lives of children in the community with in the Gemini FM broadcast area.

We also broadcast Gemini FM's What's On Guide every day, which provides free publicity to charitable or non profit-making local events and organisations.
